I'd love to extend a warm and personal invitation to all of you to make our fifth, and last regular outdoor event of the season a fun end of summer.

Join us this Sunday September 21st at noon for an afternoon of frolicking and fun at the grounds of the Longhouse in Redmond with our new(ish!) name The Seattle Menagerie.

Weather forecast is for highs in the mid to upper 60s, so bring something a little warm. As always for outdoor events, we suggest sunscreen and water to stay hydrated. There's lots of shade on the lower parts of the property, so pups and ponies may want to set up in those areas in case it does warm up. Camp chairs and ground covering blankets are also nice to have along.

If you want to swim, bring a towel. Toward evening there can be some mosquitoes on the property as the sun begins to get low, so consider bug spray.

Sunday's Schedule:
September 21st, 2008

- 11:50am - I'll be arriving along with Ponymistress D and Snakeman, we will set up check-in. The day fee for today will be $10.
- 12:00pm - We are officially open to play (Ponymistress D will have her surrey and tack with her)
- 12:00pm-6:00pm - We have full access to the play facilities of the Longhouse. This includes the outdoor areas, the play areas, the shower
areas, the hot tub, and the pool. From 4-5:30pm the CSPC does a BBQ up by the pool.
- 6pm - Pack out and heading home. Let's leave the property as clean as it was when we arrived :).

Everyone is welcome to come and play, observe, and enjoy, though if we do not know you, we ask that you bring identification that lets us know you are age-appropriate for the event. Photography is permitted during this event, so if you do not wish to be photographed, please let it be known when you sign in.

Those who have not been to the Longhouse facilities, it is located in Redmond, 15 miles east of Seattle. There is an Albertson's nearby if you require drinks, water, ice, carrots, apples, sunscreen, or anything else you may have forgotten.

The closest tack store along the route from Seattle is Olsen Mills, at 2501 140th Ave NE, Bellevue. The people there are friendly but they are not kinky, so please be respectful of their customers.

If you need directions, please let me know.
